Count across the reels
Matching symbols can pay from different positions
A regular symbol win starts with at least eight matching symbols anywhere on the reels. There is no payline to trace through them.
After a win, the matching symbols clear and new ones drop in. A later tumble can pay with a different symbol. The video shows this changing sequence as swords, round symbols, scrolls, and other symbols enter and leave the reels.
Progress above the reels
Tumble hits unlock extra symbol positions
Consecutive tumble hits progressively unlock positions above the reels. Multiplier values add to the running total used for the tumble reward.
Multiplier values add together, and the accumulated total carries through later free spins. The extra symbol positions and the multiplier total are separate parts of the feature.
- The symbols on the reels determine which matching groups pay.
- The locked positions above the reels make room for additional symbols as they open.
- Scatters have separate payouts and award ten free spins when four or more appear.

Athena Scatters have their own award
The Athena portrait marked SCATTER uses a different table from the ordinary symbols. Four, five or six Scatters pay 2, 15 or 100 times the total bet respectively and trigger an initial 10 free spins.
Scatters stay in place through the tumbles of the same base-game spin. Ordinary winning symbols clear, allowing new symbols to fall around the Scatters.
